TuPac Shakur nominated for 2017 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 

All eyes are on the 2017 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame list of eligible inductees as “All Eyez On Me” rapper, TuPac Shakur, has finally been nominated for induction into the honorable annal of musical greatness…
Just over a month after the 20th anniversary of his untimely passing, the heavily-weighted name of the incomparable West Coast reppin legend has appeared on the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame ballot for the very first time.
According to CNN, to be eligible for nomination, an individual artist or band must have released their first single or album at least 25 years prior to the year of nomination. The 2017 nominees had to release their first recording no later than 1991.


Pac joins musical acts Bad Brains, Janet Jackson, Depeche Mode, Journey, Electric Light Orchestra, Jane’s Addiction, Joan Baez, Journey, Pearl Jam, Steppenwolf, and The Cars as possible members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class of 2017.

Fan girls and boys can hop online and vote to get their fave(s) inducted into the prestigious chamber of artistic excellence… Typically, the top five acts with the most votes are granted entry into the exclusive club of virtuosos.


The winners will be announced in December with an induction ceremony taking place in April 2017.
If accepted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, the late “California Love,” crooner will find himself in the company of previously inducted Hip-Hop heroes N.W.A., Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Run-DMC, Beastie Boys, and Public Enemy.
