Weed Woes: Rich Homie Quan booked for felony drug charge; faces up to 30 years in prison

The only music your boy Rich Homie Quan’s currently able to make is by clinking a tin can against the unforgiving bars of a jail cell… as the “Flex” rapper has been hit with a drug possession charge for the weed found on his person during his Memorial Day Weekend arrest in Georgia.

Right now, Atlanta’s very own 27-year-old “Type Of Way” spitter is learning the hard way that if you do the crime you might be doing some serious time as he’s been booked for felony possession of drugs with intent to distribute, according to the arrest report obtained by TMZ.

Legal insiders with the scoop on his case are said claim Rich Homie was holding weed at the time of his detainment, though it’s unclear how much of the drug was on him. However, in Georgia, the amount reportedly doesn’t determine whether or not you get hit with a felony.
He’ll be held in jail until Friday’s bond hearing.
As previously reported on Cheekywiki, RHQ and five of his homies got knocked by police whilst en route to slay a club appearance in Wadley, GA, on Saturday evening.
The “Blah Blah Blah” boomer and his entourage were taken into custody on suspicion of possession of a stolen gun and drugs charges.
Luckily for Quan, the cops retrieved the gun in question and aren’t pinning the weapons charges on him, per the police report.

However, when it comes to the punishment he might face for the weed charges, Rich is looking at up to 30 years in prison if he’s convicted.
