Who & who?: Adele dismissed plans for Beyonce and Rihanna to join her George Michael tribute

HOL’ UP…

Though it would have been NO Destiny’s Child, Beyonce was originally slated to slay in a trio tribute performance for late pop legend, George Michael, alongside Rihanna and Adele at the 59th annual Grammy Awards … However, the Album Of The Year winning “Hello,” crooner reportedly DEADED dealings to honor the deceased “I Want Your Sex” singer with the two vocal vixens by her side…

RIDING DOLO AF..
SO PEEP…

Though the 28-year-old British boooming bombshell had NOOOO problem sharing pieces of her coveted Grammy award with the highly exalted Queen Bey on Sunday night, it’s seems sharing her stage time while she belted out a heart-felt ballad for one of her musical idols was something she just was NOT at all here for.

“[The family] didn’t want a tribute at first, and they came back and were very specific that it be me,” Adele explained to Billboard when asked about her show-stopping (literally) homage performance to George Michael– who suddenly passed away on Christmas Day at the age of 53.

And while the 15-time Grammy award winner claimed the late luminary’s loved ones were adamant she solely due him justice at the yearly star-studded ceremony, word on the curb has it George Michael’s manager, Michael Lippman, wanted others to join her in honoring the “Fastlove” virtuoso.

LOOKIT…

Via Billboard:

Michael’s longtime manager, also had a dream: Grammy host James Corden, whose “Carpool Karaoke” series was launched with Michael in the passenger seat, Adele, Beyoncé and Rihanna, each taking a song of a different tempo and era (“Freedom” and “One More Try,” among them) in one giant Michael mash-up — an idea that began to take root, says Ehrlich. But it became quickly evident “how passionate Adele was,” Ehrlich adds, “and that she had a vision for what she wanted to do with it.”

SO HOMEBOY’S DREAM GOT DEFERRED AS HELL…

BLOOOP…

So far, neither Beyonce nor Rihanna have made any public statements about their would-have-been slays in honor of George Michael…

WAS ADELE ENOUGH FOR THE PERFORMANCE? OR SHOULD RIH AND BEY HAVE KILLED IT WITH HER?
THOUGHTS?
