WILL SPILL…

While choppin it up with radio host, A. Dot, the 47-year-old West Philadelphia native opened up about the creative autonomy he’s instilled in his kids in light of his 17-year-old son, Jaden Smith, modeling in women’s clothing for Louis Vuitton.

“Yeah, I think that may have been a mistake. We may have gone too far,” Will joked. “There’s a really powerful internal quality as an artist that as parents we encourage. You gotta get out on the edge. You have to try things, you have to be comfortable doing things that people don’t agree with, and you have to be comfortable doing things you could fail [at].”

He continued, “Jaden is one hundred percent fearless. He will do anything. As a parent it’s scary, it’s really terrifying. But he is completely willing to live and die by his own artistic decision and he doesn’t concern himself with what people think. To me, it’s so far not about me. it’s not about us going to a show or not. For me, this is a much bigger social issue I’m recognizing a pattern of the narrowing of imagery, the narrowing of tolerance in America.”

VERY POLITICALLY CORRECT, B…
OH AND SPEAKING OF TOLERANCE…

Following talk about his baby boy, the “Getting Jiggy With It” master was asked for his take on the #OscarsSoWhite controversy, to which he said he issue extends far beyond himself and called for “leadership” in Hollywood due to a regression in film.

On the heels of that convo, Will addressed the beef between himself and his former “Fresh Prince Of Bel Air” co-star, Janet Hubert, for her shameless shade of him and Jada’s decision to boycott the Academy Awards due to its lack on diversity in nominees..

When asked which Aunt Viv–yes, y’all know there was the dark skinned one (Janet Hubert) and the light skinned one (Daphne Reid)– the “Concussion” actor cleverly responded, “I think that both of the Aunt Vivs were really, really fantastic.”

Clearly trying to side step anymore drama, the Black Hollywood honcho went on to say, “I think when you make a show, any time you make a change it’s gonna be excruciating and painful. I think that Janet Hubert went and brought a really powerful dignity to the show. I think she’s brilliant. I think as an artist, there’s so many things that she does. She sings, she dances, she’s like a really powerful artist. I love what she brought to The Fresh Prince.”

THAT ANSWER WAS SMOOTH AF…

Before dipping, Will also spilled on who he believes should be the first black James Bond, told why he will NOT be participating in the “Independence” say sequel, and confirmed that he and Martin Lawrence will DEF be teaming up for a Bad Boys 3!

YAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSS…
