You Owe Me: Nas hit with an over $294K tax lien

Unfortunately for lyrical zaddy, Nas, being fine doesn’t pay the bills…

On the heels of announcing a 17-stop North American tour with “If I Ruled The World,” collaborator, Lauryn Hill, Queensbridge’s 43-year-old Braveheart representative has been hit with yet another hefty tax lien to add to his staggering collection of legal notices via Uncle Sam…

According to Bossip, California’s Tax Franchise Board his hemming Nas up to the tune of $294,057 for the debt the “Hate Me Now” spitter accrued from 2014 and 2015.

Payment of the over a quarter-million-dollar albatross around the emcee’s neck will result in the prevention of interest and penalties being tacked on to his bill as well as the repossession of his properties–both his currently owed land and spaces purchased future.

Tragically, the highly-acclaimed Hip-Hop figure–who recently called president Donald Trump a “racist” in his open-ended online manifesto entitled, “ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS“– is no stranger to being hunted down by the IRS…

Back in March of 2016, Nas was slammed with $145,000 and $425,842 liens from 2007 and 2008, which opened Pandora’s Box to reveal that he actually owed approximately $6 million in unpaid taxes… a debt the “I Can” crooner chopped in half with a payment of $3.5 million in December.

However, the man currently hosting “sleepovers” with the ever-voluptuous Nicki Minaj is said to still owe nearly $426,000 to the state of Georgia on income he earned in 2007–a debt that includes a $60,000 penalty, over $57,000 in interest and nearly $71,000 in collection fees.
