Young Thug changing his stage name to No My Name Is Jeffery

NEW NEW…
Your guy, Young Thug, isn’t only about switching up styles when it comes to his eclectic fashion sense, he’s also into flexing on the game by changing his stage name.
If any of you overzealous Hip-Hop heads went as far as tattooing the 24-year-old “Danny Glover,” spitter’s microphone moniker on your person, you better see if the artist that hooked you up specializes in cover-ups as the Atlanta native is gearing up to assume a new (yet, very familiar to him) public identity.
In a recent interview on the Rap Radar podcast, 300 Entertainment head honcho, Lyor Cohen, revealed that Young Thug–born Jeffery Lamar Williams– has decided to ditch his current stage name for one that includes an aspect of his real name.

“Young Thug is not going to be Young Thug anymore,” Lyor said. “His new name is going to be ‘No My Name Is Jeffery.'”
BISHHHH WHEEEEEEETTT?
THATS RIGHT.. “NO MY NAME IS JEFFERY” IT IS..
He continued, “… it’s powerful images of what makes someone Young Thug and what the evolution and how someone is Jeffery. It’s a circular thing, it’s important. “No, My Name is Jeffery” is on it’s way. Please respect us to actually segue and utilize his name going forward because it’s important.”
BRUHHHHH…

Following Lyor’s proclamation on Thugger’s…oops, No My Name Is Jeffery’s behalf, the rapper’s sister, Dora, took to Twitter in defense of her bro’s wordy alias.

BOOOM. BOOOM.

The news of his impending name switch comes just a few days before the release of his upcoming Jeffery project, slated to drop later this month.
DO YOU THINK ITS WISE FOR YOUNG THUG TO CHANGE HIS NAME OR WILL THIS HARM HIS CAREER?
THOUGHTS?
